Annual examinations are very important to well being of your pet. An examination can be the key to early detection of illness/disease before your pet become seriously ill. Examinations are crucial to diagnosing conditions such as heart disease, ear infections, conjunctivitis (an eye condition), cataracts, obesity, dental disease, cancer, and so on.
During the examination routine, the Dr. listens to the heart and lungs, examines the eyes, ears, mouth, teeth, gums, nose, throat, legs and paws. He also examines the gastrointestinal and urogenital system, condition of the coat and skin, and checks for any other abnormalities.
