Tami Hartmann,
Customer Care Representative &
Grooming Coordinator

Tami joined Dunlap Veterinary Clinic in October 2007.  She then transferred to our Dunlap Veterinary Clinic, P.C. II location.  Tami is one of our wonderful Customer Care Representatives. Since joining our team, Tami has had time to observe the Doctors and Technicians and loves the compassion shown collectively to each patient.  Tami also loves the attitude that everyone exhibits working together and helping one another.  Tami says, "We all love animals, so each new client coming into the clinic is exciting. This enthusiasm makes it a joy to come to work."

Tami is married with 4 children; Nathan-24, owns an auto-body shop in East Peoria, Tom-22, attending Villa Nova in Penn. working to get his PhD, Rex-21, working locally trying to discover just what the he's supposed to do, and Tena-19, attending ICC and is the chef at Three Dog Bakery in Junction City.  She will continue in school majoring in art but all is just a means to an end because her goal is to start her own truffle business.

Tami and her family own three dogs, two cats, and one fish.  Tami calls her home a "bread and breakfast" for LOTS of stray cats.   Getting her pets adjusted to her new work hours has been challenging at best. They keep dropping hints that they are slightly displeased.

Deborah Kuehne,
Customer Care Representative

Deborah joined us on June 1, 2009
as a Customer Care Representative.  When asked why she loves her job, she replied, “I really enjoy connecting with people and their pets, and helping to provide them with the best possible veterinary care. I am also very lucky to work with a terrific group of people- they make it fun to come to work!”.

Deborah graduated from the University of Kentucky with a B.S. degree and has worked for the past ten years at a veterinary hospital in North Carolina.  She enjoys baking (specifically chocolate desserts), reading and "relaxing" at home with her family and pets.

Deborah is m
arried to Owen and has a stepdaughter Ally, who is attending UNC at Chapel Hill, and two daughters Caitlin and Emma.  Caitlin recently graduated from NC State University in Biomedical Engineering, and 14 year old Emma is here with Deborah and Owen in IL and started high school this past fall!

Deborah shares her life with her beloved Greyhound Emrys, her precious Italian Greyhound Schnozzle, and little princess Vivienne, also an Italian Greyhound.  Also in the mix are Cricket, a neurotic Border Collie, and Idgie, her daughter's bossy and smart little Terrier mix.  Deborah used to foster cats for a rescue group in NC, and consequently has several cats; seven to be exact.  Hansel, Gretel, Mowgli and Viola de Lessups were all rescues.  Deborah’s oldest cat Mouse was a stray who cleverly followed her kids home, and a Maine Coon Hecate was a gift.  She is also caring for her sister's cat Ahab.  Deborah’s sister moved to Scotland, and they decided the trip overseas would be too much for him.  Deborah says, “My house is quite the zoo, never a dull moment!”.

Julie Chapman,
Customer Care Representative

Julie started working at our Dunlap Veterinary Clinic, P.C. II location in the beginning of June 2010.  "I love helping people who love their pets" she replied when asked why she enjoys being a customer care representative at our clinic.
In her spare time she loves running as well as taking spinning classes. She also loves traveling with her two beautiful daughters. Julie is the mother of Mackenzie, who is 12 and Michaela who is 5.  The family recently lost their beloved George, a pet dachshund, at the beginning of April.
